Mechanical Packages
Complete chiller/boiler plants are available from Epsilon
and shipped to site inside our own double wall factory built
enclosure. The mechanical plant is a stand-alone complete
system that arrives on site for easy installation and turn-key
operation.
We design, engineer and fabricate using customer preferred
equipment so that local service is easy and convenient. We
can supply and install all the equipment or install equipment
that is free issued by the customer.
We work with the end user and/or consulting engineer and
operate as an extension of their in-house design team. Everything
is included with mechanical, electrical, controls, environmental
and structural considerations. Our designers focus on central
plants and mechanical systems so they understand how to create
a mechanical room that will utilize the minimum amount of
space while adhering to manufacturers recommended service
clearances.
We have in-house experience with refrigeration, hydronics,
steam and air-side heat transfer. This allows the customer
the opportunity to utilize us as a single point resource
for their entire central plant.
Our enclosures come with unique features that separate us
from everyone else. We build our own enclosures that allow
us to offer the customer standard features such as snow and
wind load ratings, internal wash-down liners, roof mounted
lifting lugs (make hoisting and rigging very easy, especially
with multiple sections), sound transmission loss ratings
(allow us to estimate sound levels outside of the enclosure),
seismic ratings, painting options and various siding alternatives.
The Epsilon Central Plant Controller (CPC) uses progressive
Adaptive Control Logic to optimize the performance of the
central plant equipment. All the central plant equipment
including chillers, boiler, heat exchangers, pumps, cooling
towers, control valves and instrumentation are all monitored
and controlled through the CPC offering the customer a single
point control center that maximizes the operation of the
central plant system. The controller offers the unique advantage
of minimizing central plant power consumption while communicating
seamlessly with the BAS.
The controller comes complete with a 10” graphic screen
for intuitive interface with building operators making operation,
local monitoring and diagnostics extremely easy and efficient.
A built-in web server for internet/intranet communication
is also available.
All of our central plant systems are designed to ASHRAE
15 and come with parasitic load calculations, acoustic information,
detailed drawings, equipment schedules, BOM, structural details,
seismic calculations as required and specifications.
